PACIFIC NORTHWEST SHREDDING, Inc is a minority business owned and operated by small businessman Mark Mamon. Approximately 16 years ago, Pacific Northwest Shredding was awarded a city-wide blanket contract along with several other recycling and shredding companies. SPD reached out to Pacific Northwest Shredding and decided to utilize their company for shredding of confidential police documents.
Mark started Pacific Northwest Recycling in 1989, while employed as a janitor working out of the Public Safety Building. In 2003, Mark sold the recycling business and decided to focus on confidential shredding only. Mark is also certified in accordance with the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID).
Since Mark’s humble start nearly 20 years ago in the confidential shredding business, Mark has grown to servicing over 250+ accounts in the Pacific NW. Several other City department’s also use Pacific Northwest Shredding for their shredding needs. Mark attributes his growth to “God’s Blessing”.
Mark Mamon and his son Billy Mamon are the only two employees that services their 250+ accounts. Over the last 16 years, SPD has found Mark and Billy to be outstanding small business owners. When entering SPD’s various sites to pick up SPD’s documents, Mark and Billy are always on time and efficient. They complete their service quickly and quietly, and always with a smile. Mark has also worked with SPD to ensure that their billing format and invoicing works for both their business and our accounting department. SPD always endeavors to ensure that small business owners are paid in a timely manner.
